(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy medium purple with a small deep pink head and no lace. Aroma of fresh raspberries with some deeper currant giving a blackberry feel, nice pip and skin bitters, not much Berliner showing. Flavour is bright mineral and light lactic yoghurty tart, super clean cereals with the more astringent cassis and floral hibiscus dominating, berry pips and fuzzy raspberry skin, dry floral finish. Light to medium bodied with very low carbonation. Definitely not an overfruited thing, refreshing fruity and on the light side.

(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Hazy orange pour with a small white head that fades with some spotty lace. Aroma and flavour are both dominated by nice punchy fresh apricot flesh and skin with a little dried apricot depth to them, good lactic lemony punch with a dash of white wine vinegar, drying oak and fairly subtle Brett, tangy and lightly mineral with a long tart finish that's got skin tannins and chewy apricots in abundance. Medium bodied, a bit slick, with somewhat high filling carbonation. Moderately complex with good fruit character, mix between a sipper and a dinner brew IMO. Very nice!

Can: Poured a clear golden color pils with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light crisp cereal notes with some huge floral undertones with mix of grassy notes and citrus. Taste is also a mix of crisp cereal notes with very faint residual sugar notes and loads of hoppy floral undertones notes and light citrusy notes. Body is average for the style with good carbonation. Enjoyable pils with nice hoppy undertones but personally I would have stuck to more Noble hops.

(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazed pale gold with a small rapidly fading white head. Notes of lightly tart and rustic apples dominating things, soft funky wild notes, touches of white wine and citrus, lightly lactic, soft woody structure, dusty yeast, minerals, not much in the way of malt structure, finishing dry and lighty woody with winey cider and skins. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. This felt like a funky BA cider more than anything, and indeed more like a wine than a beer let alone a lager. Fine with me, I'm enjoying this series from Maltstrom lots whether it's lager like or not!

Can: Poured a slightly hazy bright golden color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of hoppy citrusy floral undertones is enticing. Taste is a mix of cereal notes with some hoppy floral undertones with light citrusy notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable IPL and nice to see they don’t feel obligated to use lactose.

(500ml bottle from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours a hazy deep amber colour with a small but stable eggshell head and some lace. Notes of moderately intense but tart sour cherries, red berry and some plum/apricot, citrusy overtones, chunky cereals and a little torrified grain, fruit vinegar, ample oak, tannins, leather and stables from the Brett, the moderate tartness fades into a dry and somewhat bitter finish dominated by Brett, tannin and fruit skins/bittering hops. Medium bodied, smooth creamy carbonation. Nice tidy cherry-ish wile ale, does not feel like a lager but I suppose only part of the blend is anyway. Not leaning on the fruit too much, it lets Brett and cereals have some space to breathe.
