Fairly pale for the style, and light. Not much bigger in character than a regular weizen, and tastes mostly the same, with a sweet character, light malts, some banana, and it's pretty thin for a weizenbock. The depth of maltiness that should be playing off of the phenols really isn't here, and it just ends up sticky and unbalanced, and not really to style.

Taster at Legacy LRS. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is some tropical fruits. Taste is better, along the same line but more prominent. Quite good.

On tap at Bells & Whistles, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out musty armpits, with light earthy hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is a little more pleasant, with earthy hops and dry bready malt. Earthy and dry. It's okay - at least it tastes better than it smells.

Hazy and pale. Thin head. On the nose, The hops are sort of herbal and earthy. The malts seem biscuity but also husky. On the palate, I like it better - nice spicy hop, the malts are a touch husky in the finish but have a nice sweetness up front. Low bitterness, but also the yeast is restrained. OK example.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Ugly look, it's a dull and hazy light brown with very small head. Mild elements, it's a bit grainy, a bit herbaceous, light vegetables, infinitesimal butter.
This is missing the Hazy IPA style by a mile.
