750ml bottle pours a murky, dark brown with some creamy, off white head. Nose is honey comb and dates, raisins, fruit cake, bready, mild Dr. Pepper. Flavor is sweet, sticky honey, brown sugar, booze, cola, raisins. Full bodied, sticky finish.

Bottle at the main DC December gathering. Poured a dark brown color with a light tan head. Aroma was light, sweet toffee notes. Flavor had a nice caramel, toffee, and dark fruit notes. Tasty toffee.

Cask at Cork City. Dark brown pour with a creamy brown head and heavy lacing. Dark malts, some roast, a bit of nutty type flavoring, spice notes and a bit of booze. Rather dry, fairly heavy malty but not really at all sweet. Long, dry finish. Fairly strong heart. Interesting, strong.

Bottle at the DC December Gathering #2. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of booze, caramel, dark chocolate, dark fruit. Tastes of dark fruit, booze, chocolate. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

Bottle shared at the 10th Annual Epic & Unusual Beer Tasting, 11/29/15. Hazy dark orange, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, maple, cinnamon. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, maple. Medium bodied.
