Description
We are very proud of our Channel Islands heritage. The Liberation Brewery has been supplying the Channel Islands with its award-winning beers for nearly 150 years. Pat and Peter take great pride in crafting our unique and distinctive seasonal range as well, using the finest local ingredients.

We also have 20 pubs and bars across the Channel Islands, where you will always receive a warm welcome. We’re very proud of our eclectic and unique pubs & bars; each one with its own distinctive feel and menu focused on what works best for the local area. Our team of Chefs from all over the islands collaborate to design, create and develop our award-winning food offering. Utilising the finest ingredients including our own Liberation brewed beers, locally sourced meat, fresh produce and delicious Channel Islands seafood. With our over-arching food brief to create a good value, innovative and exciting menu of dishes.

On tap. Pours a copper color with light head. Aromas of watery caramel, a bit of pine and bready malts. Flavors if soft toasty malts.

Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn at the International Brewing & Cider Festival, Manchester. Clear dark golden body, spotty lacing, tiny white head. Moderate aromas of citrus and grainy malts. Orange and grapefruit to the taste profile, zesty. Rounded fruity ending with a bitter twist. Nice. (Manchester, 22.03.2024).

Cask ale at King and Castle, half pint. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March 24. Clear amber-gold body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Moderate aromas of grassy hops and mid-sweet grain. Malt-fruity flavours, herbal hops, grass, grain and a citric note towards a bittersweet ending . Quite alright. (Windsor, 17.03.2024).

Cask at Ice Wharf (JDW), Camden. Pours clear amber gold with white foam. Aroma: malt, biscuit, caramel, hedgerow. Taste: light sweet & bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. OK.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear orange coloured pour with a a fading off white head. Aroma is subdued stale grains, grass, worry, brown sugars, flavour is composed of grassy hop, wet grass, stale grains, nutty malts, palate is semi sweet, mellow condition, meh. Pretty boring.

On cask. Appearance - clear amber with a thin white head. Nose - light citrus and brown bread. Taste - lemon and bready. Palate - light bodied, then a bit sweet but the finish is fairly clean. Overall - decent.
