Poured from the tap. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Fair bit of vinous notes with some funk and light tartness. Very nice.

This rye saison is dark and fruity. The sad thing about traveling is I bought too much beer and now I have to drink it because it's too much to carry. #firstworldproblems

Jelzés értékű, azonnal eltűnő hab, kissé opálos borostyán szín. Enyhén savanykás, gabonás, élesztős illat. Gabonás, leheletnyit vizes érzetű, enyhén fűszeres ízek. Kissé savanykás, könnyű, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén kesernyés. Könnyen iható, de kissé sújtalan saison.

On tap at Steeplejack, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice Belgian yeast character, with light candi sugar, and soft hay. Flavour is not exactly authentic, with candi sugar, floral notes, and booze. Not a good utilization of the yeast — sweet and estery. Very subpar for Upright.

On tap at Upright, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma is full of nicely roasted barley, with dry cocoa and hearty oats. Flavour is dry and roasted, with intensely deep roasted malt, intense bitterness, and light leather. Very roasted and bitter finish. Good but a bit harsh.

On tap at Upright, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma has a really nice subtle bugginess, with bright citrus tang and a touch of funk. Flavour is bright and tangy, with a wonderful bright citrus tang, fruity peaches, and gentle bugginess. Really great interplay between the peaches and citrus tang from the NZ hops. Excellent.

On tap at Upright, pours a clear vibrant amber with a small white head. Aroma is actually pretty laid back for the style, with bready malt and a hint of toasted caramel. Flavour is malty but dry, with lots of toasted caramel dominating, followed by bready malt and a hint of hoppy resins. Very malty but dry (for the style) finish. The ABV is not apparent at all. Very well-made.
