Can, courtesy of the brewer. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick creamy off-white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is on the piney, grapefruity side, with a touch of orange. Not much maltyness detected. Its medium bodied, a bit watery on the palate, with a pleasant carbonation level. Rather dry, with a nice bitterness. Grapefruit, orange zest and pine cones in the flavor. Some malty sweetness too. Lasting grapefruity, piney and bitter finish. Quite refreshing this one, and tasteful, but it needs to be rather cold in my opinion. 170602

Bottle from Beer Hawk. It’s so unusual that I found it hard to rate. To me it’s like a Belgian sour (I dunno... like Duchesse) was mixed with a smoked beer like a Aecht and then mixed again with a standard Britihsh ale. The result isn’t totally unhinged and is passable to drink. Apples, pears, smoked malts and of course bitter. Hides the abv incredibly well.
