On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy bright reddish pink with a small pink head. Aroma brings out fresh raspberries, with a somewhat artificial tinge, along with lacto and some acidity. Flavour is along the same lines, with lacto, fresh tart raspberries and light acidity. Very fruity but somewhat artificial tasting. Not a great fruited Berliner, but it's decent.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry floral hops, with a bit of citrus and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus and floral hops, moderate dank ness, and crisp biscuity malt. A bit harsh, but it's structured decently. Not bad.

Draught @ Strathcona. Light golden amber with just a slight chill haze. Thin head. Weedy mosaic with a litte orangey note. Similar palate, crisp bitterness and slightly bready pale malts.

Golden and bright, thin head. Light pine/weed hop nose. Moderate bitterness, hops are more on the pinier side. Good, balanced IPL with medium pale malt backbone.

Cloudy, thin head, fruity nose, lime, bit yeasty. Tart on the palate with citrusy notes and a light saltiness. Can't say I'm picking up much rye...I'm curious as to what influence it should be having, actually.

2018-09-25, can, 6-3-6-3-13=31
Hazy pale blond colour, few sparse bubbles rather than proper beer head. Gentle lactic acid aroma. The lactic acid flavour is quite strong, but also the doughy yeast feeling; the mouthfeel is dry and weak; evident saltiness, a bit spicy, and this could be indeed the combination of rye and honey.
Maybe not perfectly executed, but at least it's rather bold in its category, and enjoyable.

Murky blond colour. The aroma is a bit yeasty, light acid, lemon. The mouthfeel is a bit chalky, it has a strong lactic acid character moderate acidity, some lemon, light plum, not sure about the salt.
Robust, very good.

Draught at the brewpub
Clean deep blond colour. Same malt base as a Lager, nothing special, quite boring; more hopping than a regular Lager, with some hints of citrus peel; very light traces of butter.
Clean, but also, very timid and uninspired beer.

Cloudy blond color with compact head. The aroma and flavor are very fruity and peachy, mellow, with very low bitterness, no hops. To the point that I believe I'm drinking a fruit beer and not a Pale Ale. But refreshing.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color. The aroma is very nice, tropical fruits, some resins. Dry mouthfeel, a bit thin; flour-y feeling, ending with resiny and piney hops.
Not bad.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy bright light red colour. Moderate aroma of raspberries, strong acidity, medium raspberry flavour, dry; the beer character disappears. Weak and short final.
What's the point of brewing a beer with raspberries if it only tastes like dry raspberry lemonade?
