Draft - Soured and saline grains. Clear gold with a decent white head. Soured grains, passion fruit and a nice saline finish. Solid.

Bright amber with a medium head. Aroma of subtropical hops, with moderate bitterness, berryish and slightly weedy hops. Yeah, not different.

Bottle, with the fancy waxed cap that tells me the marketing department did its job. Fortunately this one was a gift, because I would not have wanted to pay for this. Dull amber. Sort of clousy, yeasty, maybe light bourbon notes if I'm being imaginative. Quite yeasty, messy, alcohol. Brewers really do think they can brew high concept, high skill beers, have them turn out terrible, but still charge a premium. RIP craft beer.

Draught at the brewery
Clear golden colour. Resiny hops, some dank character, mild biscuity malt; all good for a solid and clean West Coast IPA with robust bitterness, although has some pithy bitterness in the finish.
Very good.

Draft - Citrus, mango and vanilla. Cloudy gold witha decent white head. Mango, citrus and a nice creamy note. Solid.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy dull light amber colour with no head. Strong boozy note, rubbing alcohol, Apple and orange peel. Medium strength body, very light residual sweetness, the herbal and peel bittering is out of balance, and the barrel adds very strong notes of booze and rubbing alcohol.
So messy, just a bunch of things thrown together in a very kitsch way, rather unpleasant.

Draught at the brewery
Orange shade of blond, cloudy. Light mango aroma, maybe some Weisse spiciness. Fairly dry, but not too weak; mild hefeweizen flavour, with light cloves and banana, while the mango, that would require some sweetness to shine, is not too evident.
Timid beer, for the typical Vancouver drinker.

Ugly murky amber, fast fading white head.. Nose and taste of vague fruit and malt with medium bitterness in finish. Poor carbonation

Taster at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is woody, green apples, whiskey. Similar taste with noticeable bitterness similar to the boozy one. Harsh and unbalanced. Meh.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light earthiness with a touch of lacto. Flavour reveals subdued honey, with plenty of salt and lacto. Yogurty palate, with a nice contribution of salt. Solid.
