Draft - Almost a light fruity soured wheat and yeasty notes, clear gold with a small white head. Sweet and fruity with some definite rubber notes. Not good.

Nitro - Sweet and toasty notes. Deep clear brown with a creamy beige head. Bitter and toasty malts with a ligh roasty finish. Not bad, but could be better.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very restrained, with light piney hops and some boiled vegetables. Flavour is dry, with some piney hops upfront and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Dry and somewhat astringent finish. Simple and rather harsh. Meh.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, some herbal and vegetal notes (not in a bad way), and biscuity notes. Flavour is crisp, with toasted malt, some nuttiness, and crisp herbal notes. Dry and bright, but very tame. Underwhelming.

On tap at Strathcona, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters, saison yeast and overripe fruits. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of esters, dry saison yeast, and a rather harsh astringency on the finish. Not an authentic creation here, and rather harsh. Not impressive.

Draught at the brewery
Golden color, medium sized compact head. Bag of grains, wet paper, no malt depth; the body is quite thin, rather dry, with a biscuity trace, and low bitterness, more dryness in the final.
Clean, very boring.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color. More than a Saison, it tastes like an American Hefeweizen; the yeast has some spicy character, but also paper, and vegetables, mostly in the final. Some aroma of stale bread.
Lame local Saison, welcome to Vancouver.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 2 | Overall - 4

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is not hoppy, it just smells of yeast; paper, dirty feet. Dry mouthfeel, yeast soup again, very astringent in the final, poor malt quality, a bit of resins but besides that not enough hop quality; vegetables notes in the final.
So sad that in Vancouver it’s acceptable to sell something like this.
