Description
Tiley’s Brewery was launched at the Sally in February 2015. We brew small batch beer in cask and keg from our tiny 2.5BBL brewery.
The brewery, named after our family name Tiley, is now producing pale ales, best bitters and porters, purely for consumption at the Sally. We are in experimental mode so don’t expect to see the same beer week-in, week-out – this is not a production line- this is a quest to brew the very best that we can. We are now also producing beer in cans.

Cask-conditioned at the Salutation, Ham, Gloucestershire 28/6/2024. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Grassy hops, with some citrus fruit character. Flavour had more fruit and some rather raw, biscuity malts before a dryish finish. Perhaps a bit too fresh, but ok.

Cask handpull at Bag O Nails Bristol. Clear orange brown beer. Thin head. Malty brown bitter. Less nutty than the one before. But it's still a brown malty nutty brown bitter. Some bitterness on the finish. Dry nutty finish. Walnuts. OK. Just about OK condition and temperature

Cask (Cheltenham Motor Club) - Amber in colour. Sultanas, caramel and some earthy notes feature in both the aroma and taste. Steady.

Cask-conditioned at the Barley Mow, Bristol 27/1/2023. Reddish-brown in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Aroma of nuts, brown sugar and some red berry sweetness. Flavour had rich and sweet malts, more red fruits and a trace of toastiness before a gentle finish. An excellent mild.
