On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of whiskey barrels upfront, along with light caramel, and alcohol. Flavour is heavy on the whiskey as well, with huge boozy alcoholic woody notes, and more whiskey. Quite overwhelming, though somehow still drinkable, albeit slowly. Dominated by the whiskey - decent.

On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a dark mahogany / brown with a small tan head. Aroma reveals notes of chocolate and toasted nuts. Flavour is dry and fruity, with red fruits and light cocoa. Leaves a little something to be desired - a little too much fruitiness for a porter for me. Still, decent.

On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is on the gentle side, with floral and citrus hops. Flavour is crisp and hoppy, with piney, floral and citrus hops, and just enough toasted crackery malt to back. Very well-balanced and constructed. Dry finish without any harsh astringency. Good stuff.

Draft - Sweet grapefruit and pith. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter grapefruit and a balanced sweetness and bitterness. Nothing exciting but really well done and balanced.

On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dry cocoa, milk chocolate, and toasted nuts. Flavour is smooth, with notes of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Toasty, nutty and chocolatey, with a dry palate. Very solid stuff - much more interesting than typical brown ales.

On tap at Schooner Exact, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malts, crisp floral hops, and light grassiness. Flavour is clean and simple, with toasted crackery malt and a clean lightly grassy hoppy character. Clean and drinkable, but pretty boring. Okay.

Draft - Grapefruit and a bit of rind. Deep mahogany and a decent light brown head. Resin and nice bitterness. I don’t get enough roast or anything that would lead me to Black.

Flight at brewery. Brown copper color. Acetic aroma with berries, that’s about it. Same in flavor, a nail polish finish. Hard to drink much of this. This would have been great 5 years ago.

Draft - Boozy bourbon notes, apple and oak. Cloudy brown with a decent beige head. Boozy bourbon, some anise and lots of booze in the finish. A bit too hot for me.
