Can from Mitsuya’s Liquor. Drank straight from the can. Great tropical fruit nose with some piney aromas as well. Taste is more of the same. Kinda spiky finish, but overall not bad. A solid IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of 3 Grid IPA on 27 May 2015 at 21:29 - Score: 7

Amber golden color. Frothy white head. Very big heady nose that smells like a fresh bag of weed. Smooth mouth, super balanced and uber quaffable. Fantastic.

Draft pour pint at the brewery. Pours a clear golden color with a big patchy head. Creamy, thick body IPA with with light piney flavor. A little unique. Not the fast drinking IPA, but good flavor overall. Good stuff.

Medium brown color. Nice soft bourbon and oaky nose, mildly sweet malty. The mouth is medium full body. Modestly sweet with the bourbon is subdued. Very mellow and rounded with alcohol well hidden. Very pleasant beer.

Medium brown color. Some molasses and toffee in the nose, with mild roastiness. Modest hops, but lacking roasty character. Decent but not outstanding .

mahogany, the mouth is very malty and tastes like oak, but it is driven by the sorachi ace and willimette hops. Very odd flavors but highly enjoyable. This is a mild on crack mainlining heroine. Clearly more bitter than a British example. Fantastic stuff.

Pours nice dark shade of amber, looking beautiful with a white frothy head. Aroma is also loaded with hops, tropical and fruity. Taste delivers the same sensation what you’d expect from a nice West Coast IPA. Loaded with resins, lots of grapefruit, tropical fruits. Nice one, goes down easily.

Bomber from Special Brews in Lynwood, WA. Pours dark brown with a creamy/foamy tan head. Mild bourbon and a little chocolate aroma through a lot of head. Med body or so. Flavor is bourbon, wood, chocolate. Decent drink. Glad I didn’t keep it til summer. Finishes somewhat astringent with chocolate here and there. Bourbon too.
