Draft as part of a tasting flight at Bourgogne des Flandres in Bruges, Belgium. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a foamy white head. The aroma is very fresh hop, Saison wheat and malt grain and some clove. The taste is really nice, soft malt character paired with bright lemon citrus and the soft clove of the yeast. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a softly bitter and clean finish. Nice one.

Draft as part of a tasting flight at Bourgogne des Flandres in Bruges, Belgium. The pour is a clear burgundy amber with a light tan head. The aroma is big malt, and soft spice. The taste is nut malt with caramel toffee, heavy malt character then moves to spice clove and nutmeg in back. The palate is heavy to medium bodied with low carbonation and a pleasant warming toffee and spice finish. Nice.

Haven't tried this since my very first visit to Brussels in 2008. Bottle from HoTM. It pours clear deep reddish - brown with a decent off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, cola, caramel, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, chocolate bourbon biscuits, brown bread and Dr Pepper. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy roast, some spice, bitter - sweet vibes, molasses, burnt toast, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, fug, fruit loaf, black bun, kick of booze, some light permanent marker pen vibes, tannin and walnuts with a dry, toasty finish. Average carbonation in soft carbonation. I like the balance it strikes. Enjoyable.

28/IX/24 - 50cl can @ Belgian Beer Geek Gathering (Gent), BB: 19/XII/25, 12:09, 0L41132 (2024-1104) Thanks to 77ships for sharing the can!
Clear gold yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, sweet impression, some cow fodder, banana, yeasty, a bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet and sugary start, alcohol, malty, banana, meh. Aftertaste: very sugary, lots of alcohol, malty, yeasty, banana, bleh. Boring, but not as bad as expected.
