We are as passionate about brewing beer as we are drinking it and enjoy creating a whole range of innovative, quality, modern craft beers using both traditional and new brewing methods with only the finest malt, hops and yeast.

Whether you are a seasoned craft drinker or just trying something new and different , we at Urban Island work hard to produce full flavoured, balanced and creative beers that really excite you.

We love to experiment with a variety of different malt and hops from around the globe to create special brews to share with you, the more we push the boundaries and try different techniques, the more we discover about the evolving world of craft beer!

Pint from the cask at Southsea Village. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas and tastes of flora, citrus, grain & hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Half pint from the cask in the Dolphin. Pours clear amber with a small white head that doesn't last. Aromas & tastes of flora, citrus & malt. Light to moderate body. Light bitter finish. Very average

Half-pint, draught at 33 Bottles. Shared with Finn. Steady white tophead, leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, hazy grey-golden body. Subdued aromas of slightly spiced citrus fruits. Flavoured with lemon and herbal hops, grainy malts beneath. Ripe citrus end. Approved. (Gosport 19.10.2022).

Half-pint, cask at Southsea Village. Shared with Finn. Bubbly white head leaving clingy lacing on the glass, hazy golden body. Moderate smell of grainy malts with a citric scent. Mid-sweet hop fruity flavours, moments of lemon and peaches. Drying close, mid-sweet. Accepted. (Southsea 18.10.2022).
