Amber or slightly lighter than amber, with about one finger and a half of rather thick white head. Decent retention and lacing. Average intensity in the aroma. A grainy/crackery malty base with the slightest caramel hint is overcome by resinous/piney notes, with sweet jam-like fruity notes (grapefruit and stone fruits) to complement. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, with slightly disappointing intensity. In terms of sweet/bitter balance, there's a bittering edge in both taste and aftertaste, with a fairly dry finish/aftertaste that leaves a floral hoppy note. Medium bodied with average, fairly fine-bubbled carbonation; pretty easily drinkable for the abv, but that's something i expect from a double ipa. Overall an ok example of the style, failed to impress me.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è intenso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il retrogusto è intenso. Sul palato si affermano segni di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo, arancia amara, mandarino, limone, spezie albicocca, pesca, frutto della passione ed uva spina.

Light amber, moderately hazy. A quite dense white head shows pretty good retention and nice lacing. A rather interesting, though not especially strong, hop profile, overcoming a light grainy/hayish base: mango, white grapes, lighter floral hints, a hint of resin. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma, but there's also a rather strong tannic/astringent feel. It's not overwhleming, but definitely too much to be appropriate, and it kind of 'drowns' the hop profile. Medium sweetness and quite high bitterness, with a bitter edge in taste and an excessively dry/astringent finish and aftertaste (as already mentioned). Medium body, average to high carbonation; a decently lively mouthfeel. Meh.

330 ml tap. Unclear pale amber, small head. Resin, pine, grapefruit, tangerine, caramel, lemon juice, fructose. Hoppy bitterness, caramel sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, hoppy bittersweet finish. Nice DIPA, very hoppy, moderately sweet, alcohol well hidden, easy to drink.

330 ml tap. Slightly cloudy golden, small head. Lime zest, mango, pineapple, grassy hops, resin. Hoppy bitterness, some fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, hoppy bitter finish. Nice!
