Can/Fest. A- Toilet water, mango. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Mango. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Aroma sucks but otherwise good. Lots of mango but really no chilies.

Oh man that's a mango sweetness slightly artificial tasting followed by a rush of generic spice. Somethings off about the mango or maybe it's a kolsch thing. May have to give this another try.

Can. A-Red wine, grapes, oak, woody, mild pepper, chocolate, coffee, roasty, dry. A- Black color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Red wine, tannins, grapes, oak, mild sourness, white pepper, mild bitterness, dry cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, woodsy finish. O- At first whiff, this smells pretty great. Lots of red wine and oak aromas abound. The flavor does not meet the nose. A bit of a metallic aftertaste. Okay flavor that if improved would really make for an exciting beer.

12 oz. can from Tavour. Dark reddish brown color, thin bubbly head. Aroma shows mild Cabernet grapes, nothing more. The flavor shows soft chocolate, yeast, and mostly red wine influence. Subtle spicy yeast and weak oak in the finish as it warms. Decent.

12 oz. can. Labeled as Mr. Wiggles "Double Dank"... 9.2 % ABV. Aroma is, mild pine, marijuana, light herbal hints. Flavor is indeed dank; weedy, Pine, earth. Sweet malt backbone gives balance to the stern pine bitterness. Alcohol is mostly hidden. This slightly aged can held up well. Decent.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 4/1/2018. Pours slightly hazy dark ruby red/brown color with a 1 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread crust, toasted biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, smoke, molasses, raisin, plum, cherry, fig, leather, herbal, pepper, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big caramel, brown sugar, brown bread crust, toasted biscuit, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, smoke, molasses, raisin, plum, cherry, fig, leather, herbal, pepper, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/grassy/spicy hop and roast bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of caramel, brown sugar, brown bread crust, toasted biscuit, nuttiness, chocolate, cocoa, coffee, smoke, light dark fruit/pepper, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering hop/roast bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that in great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome Scotch ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mild bitter/drying finish. Impressively rich English malt complexity for the ABV; very well restrained fruity yeast, and solid earthy hop balance against sweetness. A really enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Rather nondescript IPA, presenting neither a strong citric hop profile or biting bitterness or much malt, instead tasting vaguely of all three with undercurrents of melon and butter. Grows bready and thin on the back end. Drinkable if it's the only IPA in the fridge, but kind of a blank slate as far as the style goes. Pours a pretty gold with a lasting white head and good lacing. Aroma's a nonfactor. Perky feel is medium-bodied and well-carbonated. Pretty sure I'll have forgotten this beer fifteen minutes from now.

Can/Fest. A- Coffee, roasty, bitter, slightly earthy, mild booze. A- Brown red color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Coffee, caramel, smooth. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Nice beer. I figured this was a stout at first smell but the nice caramel notes helped pull that scotch ale base through just enough. Certainly coffee forward and a unique idea. Really liked this beer and what it had going on. Why haven't more breweries made coffee scotch ales. I love this.
