Can. This was a good lime beer. I like lime beers. Taste and aroma both had a fair amount but overwhelming.

Can from Craft Beer Cellar, New Orleans. At 9.5% abv, aged in Cabernet, probably should be a new entry. Aroma is dark malt with lots of grapes, Cabernet barrel, wood, soft roast and chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, figs. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet. Body is above medium. Lots of red wine and dark malt, pretty tasty.

I have a 12 oz can that came from the Total Wine on Hulen in Ft. Worth about a month ago. Beers from the brewery used to be available locally but not for many years. Time to see what R&S does with an IPA. I have a snifter obtained at Cowtown Brewing across town from Rahr in place for the tasting. I see an amber-gold liquid body carrying a completely white cover of foam. The nose is pleasant with citrus, hops, a bit of tropical and bit-of-honey. I have to say the taste is less pleasing to me than the scent but that does not mean I don't like it. Grapefruit, white bread, orange rind, malt, honeydew and cardboard. A bit sweet and decently bitter, good combination. A substantial sensation while drinking, another positive. By the moderately high ABV, one would assume this to be an imperial IPA but I see Double or Imperial nowhere on the label. And I assume by the name that this brew uses Amarillo hops totally or somewhat but I cannot find evidence of that on the internet or on the can. A little provided info can be a good thing.
