This is a pale lager, not a golden/ blonde. 12 oz. can from HEB, Boerne, TX. Pours a hazy gold color with a really small white head and poor retention. Zero lacing. Pale malt and sweet bread aroma. The flavor is basic pale malts with a light citrus finish, as advertised. Thin, light body. High carbonation. Low bitterness. Nothing bad here, just a very basic beer.

Banana, clove, milk, smoky wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet banana, orange, clove, creamy wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body.

Not bad for an airport beer! Lemony hops and slight bitter finish.

The chunks are off-putting a bit but light pastry on a schwarzbier. The nose is stronger on the pastry than the flavor although the dark chocolate goes far, not too shabby while being fun IMO.

12oz can at share. Body is light copper colored with a small, rough foamy head. Aroma is malty and pumpkin, the flesh not the spice. Taste adds a touch of the seasonal spice, mildly sweet malts, and light barrel notes. Warm without being strong.

Can from Tavour at 6.7%. Pours clear dark copper/amber with a slight beige head. Aroma of toffee. Med body. Flavor is toffee/brown sugar with hardly more than hints of spice/grass. More sweety/malty than many Oktos.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark, clear amber, small persistent creamy head. Aroma is caramel, oak and bourbon. Caramel up front in the taste, followed by some boozy warmth, sweetness. Full mouthfeel, creamy. Well done, the barrels adding a whole new layer on to this classic style.
