Pour is a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma is decent citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor is not a hop bomb but this does have some citrus notes along with some pine. Not a world beater IPA but this was better than I thought it was going to be. If I got a super fresh can I would probably give this a higher score.

12 oz. can purchased at Specs in Austin, TX. Pours a clear mahogany color with a small but tight khaki head and good retention. Light lacing. Light caramel aroma. Toasted caramel flavor, almost burnt. Clean and smooth. The 7.0 ABV is well hidden. Lacks the smoky flavor I like in my Scottish ales but still pretty good. Medium body/mouthfeel.

Good mango presence with a slight pepper heat in the finish. Body is a tad light but makes for a good summer thirst quencher

Splash at the TGI Friday's in DFW. Black, with a small, frothy, tan head. The aroma is mild coffee, chocolate, some anise, and pine. Sweet and malty, with a hard bitterness. Pretty nice.
