Description
The Budelse Brouwerij (Budels Brewery) is a family business that still values the traditions that have guided the brewery for centuries now. It's been at the very heart of the village of Budel in Brabant since 1870. Founded 150 years ago by Gerardus Arts as Brouwerij de Hoop (the Hope Brewery). Today, the fourth generation of the Arts family is at the helm and we are just as committed to the brewing as our ancestors.

Bottle. Quite malty, lemon juice, cardboard, bread, light herbal and soft grassy hops. Medium sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium bodied. Really tastes like a 0.0 beer with some lemon. Much better than their regular 0.0 beer.

Bottle 30cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Milky straw yellow colour, small fizzy whitish head, disappears within moments, no lacing. Aroma orange, lemon, fanta, grainy touch. Taste heavy sweet and slightly sour, sugary lemon, bit sodalike (not too much), very light orange peel, aftertaste as in taste. Light body, sticky texture, average carbonation, refreshing, acceptable radler.

Strong resinous nose. Kind of murkish deep golden colour, tall frothy off-white head, dissipating slowly, heavy lacing. Aroma toasted malt, pine resin (rules!), grainy, subdued fruit (orange, apricot, peach). Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, resin, orange, peach. Malty sweetbitter finish, fruity bits and resin notes, orange peel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, not your regular IPA, lacks aromatic hop bitterness and juicyness, despite that easy to drink.

Bottle from EcoPlaza Emmen. Fruity dry lemonade beginning. Not too sweetish, the beer is nice grainy in the back. Easy to drink, fruity lemons, grainy beer with a nice melange of the aromas. Fruity dry lemonade in the aftertaste with sourish hints ansinge grainy beer with parts of alcoholfree graininess. Nice.
