Guava, coconut, banana, malt, and straw aroma. Murky pale yellow with large light orange-yellow head. Very sweet banana, coconut, guava, malt, mildly sour citric acid, and very lightly bitter straw flavor. Good body - banana dominates.

16 fl.oz. purchased as part of a delivery from Beer Merchants and drunk at home. Golden, hazy with almost no head. Vanilla cream with light notes of pomelo and satsuma. Sweet taste, big lactose among the citrus but not so much that tips the balance. More vanilla and a touch of peach in the finish. Medium body, low to medium carbonation. Interesting. In a good way.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 17/05/24. Modestly hazed golden orange with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, light pine nip, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, light pine needle, melon, mandarin, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow light juice laden hop bitterness. Its a functional hoppy beer but pretty tame and stuck in 3rd gear for an 8.5% effort!

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Light dry pine. A little estery candy sweetness. Light bright citrus is a secondary characteristic. Modest hop spice. Light finish. Fine. But by the white hot heat of Dipas produced these days, not a single thing to remark on here.

Super hazy and bright straw coloured body with a ninety-five per cent opacity and a very nice looking three centimetre tall off-white and tan head that leaves a pretty nice lace on the sides. Aroma of very pungent, astringent alcohol notes with some deeper resinous notes along with pine, flowers and honey that shows a lot of strength in here in what's to come. Full-bodied; Very rich, wheatie and oaty malt notes show at first with a lot of body and pungency, but the super astringent, bitter and especially medicinal flavours make this very strong and relatively one-sided. Aftertaste is deep of course, pretty much all from the hops, with a lot of dry notes, a ton of bitter notes from grapefruit and pine, but the even stronger medicinal and astringent notes are the strength throughout and while the malt doesn't provide any respite here, the lack of fruit and especially sweetness entirely show this to be very strong here, especially on an alcohol standpoint. Overall, very pungent, bitter, deep and super astringent with a ton of bitterness and medicinal notes that show the Imperial Status pretty clearly - not so greatly, but this one is strong and it shows! Nice, but not perfect. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Laurel, Maryland on 06-December-2022 for US$5,29, which made it into the store on 13-June-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 30-January-2023.

Aromas are an odd yet pleasant blend of malt and banana. Flavors are similar to nose, more sweet than tart. I've never had a good banana beer before but this isn't too bad. Can't drink more than one at a time but I could maybe have another one someday.
