Brewvival 2015 Trip #60. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a clear golden with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of tart lactic and mildly acetic sour, wood, hints of whiskey, citrus. The taste is wood, whiskey, vanilla, tart lemon and lactic sourness. Medium bodied, lingering tartness.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #123. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of earth, caramel and toasted malts. The taste is caramel, earth, anise, berries, fruit roll-ups. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweetness.

Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #122. Draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a thin tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of earthy tartness, tart berries, raspberry predominant. The taste is jammy fruits, currant and raspberry, earthy notes, bright tartness. Medium bodied.
