Our team is working closely together with local farmers. We assist them in professionalizing their business, helping them to grow better quality barley. Their better quality seeds yield up to 30% higher profits, whilst our brewery guarantees strong demand for their produce.
Our beer is brewed from Ethiopia’s best water, directly sourced from the highland grounds of Debre Birhan, there where our proud and passionate people transform prime quality yeast, barley malt and hops into our beloved beer.
Note: Although the above description is interesting, many of their beers are brewed in Holland.
5,0% ABV. Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.
Luke 2/24 kommer direkte fra julenissens utsalg på Kvaddå: klar lys gylden med ok skum. Lys malt, litt citrus, litt urter og passe bitterhet. Grei nok forfriskning mens jeg lager middag, men ellers ikke noe å rope hurra for, rent bortsett fra at det (for en ganske rimelig penge , den lange veien fra Etiopia tatt i betraktning) ble et nytt bryggeri på meg i dag. 5% ifgl etiketten.
330 ml bottle, as Habesha Cold Gold Beer, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 5.0%. Crystal clear golden colour, moderate to small white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, hints of honey and flowers. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of malts, grain, a little citrus, moderate herbal hops. Not too bad.

11.2oz bottle pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice light grain some grass and corn. Taste is more of the light grain corn and some grass.
(Can, 0.33l, thanks VastActiv, at VastActiv, 20240802) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey and sweetness. Palate was light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, honey and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. Clean and dull.
