Hazy draft pour under a thin head. A limoncello and wheat beer nose. Taste is pretty light; almost like a lemon radler. Rather, a nice wheaty kölsch with an imaginary lemon wedge.

SbS with Opus, so much more going on here. Same underlying barrel balance, but spiky with Heath Bar, dried fruit , thick.

Side by Side with the triple. This is very smooth, tons of chocolate. Balanced oak. Raisins, slick,
Gross. Also, very warm.

500mL bottle, assume this was 2023, drunk 9/30/23. Dark. Murky, thick, no head. Mega fruit in the nose with perhaps the most coconut I've smelled. That said, the wild turkey makes itself known, as do the dense, fudgey malts. Vanilla and heavy, chocolate-tinged coconut with spicy, not quite hot whiskey in the finish. Soft, syrupy, very sweet, though almost balanced by the strong presence of the whiskey. Some coconut acidity, light vanilla. But very, very sweet, syrupy, mushy. Bit too much so.

Bottle share at Vilaggio della Birra 2022. Black with small tan head. Lots of chocolate and pistachio, cocoa, bourbon. Sweet and almost easy drinkable. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle share at Orange and Brew. More of a straight impy stout nose, with vanilla just a standard part of the strong stout profile. This bottle is probably old, nit surprising at a bottle share, and the beers pours pretty flat. The taste is malty even bright as BBA stouts go. Just a little bit of adjunct in the stout flavor. Another nice one.

Bottle thanks to Kendrick. Pours black with small tan head. The aroma is toasted coconut, chocolate, wood, bourbon. Slick body, chocolate, coconut, roast, boozy, very nice.

Tap at Whiskey Hill. Really awkward aroma from the cacao nibs. Taste is more pleasant, but still doesn't work that well. Unimpressive.

Tap at Whiskey Hill. Pricey, but pretty impressive barrel stout. A lot of oaky caramel. Chewy and thick, ridiculous ABV hard to get a grasp on. Rich and viscous. Really good, a little sugary, sweet, but nice in small doses.
