Location: 22 oz bottle from Printers Row Wine Shop, 7/16/14, as Brickstone APA

Aroma: The nose is citrus hops, spice, pine notes, and some underlying sweet caramel
Appearance: It pours a murky orange color with a sheet if clean beige head and spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is clean and a bit hoppy, not particularly bitter for the style, not sweet either
Palate: The body is medium, leaning lighter, smooth, clean feel, with a somewhat dry finish
Overall Impression: Pretty tasty, pretty easy APA. It has a plenty solid aroma and some good flavors. Clean stuff. Nicely made.

Draft at the Marriott Mag Mile. The Marriott have made beer from the beehives on its rooftop since 2008, including with Half Acre, so it’s interesting no one on RB has been able to catch up to it until now. Light amber color with a thin edge of foam around the perimeter. Smell has just the "edge" of mild sweet honey… but not too sweet. More recognizable trace of honey on the palate. Very light spicy dryness from the wheat malt. The alcohol is a bit warming, so just above the "sessionable" range. When I finished it, I got an aftertaste that said "honey," but not "sweet." Tasted during my panels on Beer Culture at the Popular Culture Association Conference at the Marriott in April.

Sampled from the tap at Dryhop. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy citrus, grass and a bit of earthy grain backing. Flavor has more of bitter grass, with kaffir and a bit of light citrus underlying.
