Pours clear, medium darkened blonde. Scent is strong, highly aromatic honey. Spices come trough (very mildly), enhancing the richness. Taste is full, nice gentle honey with a medium mild spice selection amping the totallity up. Sweet, fairly full to full body. Pretty intense mead - gravitating towards the desert style meads I love.

Pours clear, darker red (mild amber glow) . Scent is full on fruits, not as heavy and sweet as the american melomel's, but it's quite clear the fruit will be the main show in this beverage. red berries, more heavy (not as 'light' as for instance a raspberry) . i never even heard of chokeberry , but it comes across like red currant with less tartness or something in that area. Taste is sweet, heavy and full. Minor touch of carbonation ( samplebottle refermentation seems to have taken place, as it opened with a bigger pop than the others ). Doughy, it seems a bit 'off' almost. Heavy thick fruityness. Hard to judge if the less positive vibe i'm getting is due to the fruit I don't know, the bottle refermentation (small) , or the actual quality. Nevertheless, the mead is OK, but not on par with their others, let alone 'great'.

Pours a clear, pale yellow. Scent is mild intense, yet wide in offerings. Honey, minor notes of ginger (hidden) . Don't get the nutmeg that much. Taste is full, sweet, intense honey. Has a lot of depth to it, but very little by the additions. Mellow, easy drinking mead with a very gentle, sweet body and just a minor hint of ginger spice. Nice one.

Pours a clear, very light pale yellow. Scent is medium mild. Honey, not much more than that - it does contain 'secret spices' though. Taste is full, a lot of honey aroma. Medium full sweetness, very gentle, tastes like a warm hug with loads of love. The spice addition is either something I'm very low sensitive for, or it's just very unintense. Either way, the honey expression is quite beautifull.

Pours clear, very wattery yellow. Scent is full, highly aromatic honey, spices, bit pot pourri almost. Nutmeg is an aroma I'm less familiar with, but it seems very present and yet balanced. Reminds me off the fall season. Taste is full, semi-sweet. Nice aroma, less intense than expected on the nutmeg side. Very honey-forward. Nice, easy drinker mead - perhaps (way) to sweet for an apperitif though. More of an afternoon, drink-with-tea-on-a-windy-fall-day mead. Or is that to specific for a name ? :) Mild alcohol warmth. Very balanced, gentle mead.
