About
d'Ooijevaer staat voor zes mannen, levensgenieters, die ernaar streven de wereld mooier te kleuren met de presentatie van een kwaliteitsbier. Een ultieme smaaksensatie die een stortvloed van emoties in je los maakt. En in dat streven is louter plaats voor de smaak, de reuk, het gevoel, de liefde voor bieren en bovenal het respect voor het ambacht bierbrouwen. Zes keer het individu met als uitkomst die ene missie: d'Ooijevaer! Een renaissance in de wereld der bieren!

Initiatiefnemers zijn Vincent Jansen, Bart Schouten, Michel Rouschop, Stephan Konings, Roy Kamps en Martijn Stevens. d'Ooijevaer maakt gebruik van de brouwfaciliteiten van Brouwerij De Hemel in Nijmegen.

Bottle shared at Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee and overrripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [22-09-2016]

Thank you (?) 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Dark amber orange, little head. Nose is weird cough syrup, sugar, leaves & oxidation. Taste is leaves, oxidation, molasses, sugar, oily candy. Oxidized body with leaves, doesn’t work for me.

Bottle shared @ Borefts Pre-tasting. Brownish color, small to average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweet brown sugar, caramel. Decent body and carbonation. Not too bad.

Sampled @ Pre-Borefts-Tasting 2016. Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach rotem Malz, Gewürze. Geschmack süß malzig, reife Früchte, Karamell, Zucker.

Süß hefiger, wenig bitterer Antrunk. Steigend aromatisch mit kräutrigen Noten, auch die Bitterkeit steigt. 8/10/11/10//11

Bottle at the pre-Borefts tasting, Den Haag, 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is dry light coffee chocolate sweet caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet with a light dry sweet, light fruit light spice light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
