Appearance: copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lemony to grapefruity hop notes with a light malty backbone
Flavor: copies the aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet sort of quality; finishes leaning into the malts and a lot less hoppiness
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; some smoothness but also a little bit of hop zest nicking the tongue slightly
Overall: nice enough IPL - maybe I'll come back to this one eventually.

Poured into a nonic glass.
Appearance: burnt amber color with a light transparency about it and a half finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated at a nice pace to leave some light lace
Aroma: clean caramel/toffee malts, sweet grains, some floral to earthy tones and a touch of soft nuttiness
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of sweet tones; finishes somewhat toasted grainy with a clean malty vibe
Texture: light to medium bodied with a good sessionability about it; good smoothness with not much distracting the flow
Overall: to me it's a nicely done amber lager but this sesame seed they say they added - I didn't really get that anywhere. Eh, oh well, I'd still revisit it and maybe next time I'd get it.

Aroma: caramel/toffee malts up front with a keen earthy to floral to grassy hoppy middle character then lighter herbal to biscuity malts underneath that
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine malty to herbal sweet quality; finishes leaning into a light biscuity to caramel to herbal and earthy sweetness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness about this one with nothing distracting about it
Overall: works for me as a Bitter and the second pour of this went well with some fish n' chips.

Aroma: orangey to lemony hop sweet to bitter character; light piney hops in the middle and a nice clean caramel/toffee malt base
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to semi-bitter character with a kind finish of some orangey to piney hoppiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; good smoothness with basically nothing really distracting the drinkability
Overall: worthy of coming back to this one.

Aroma: sweet lemony tones, crushed coriander, subtle floral with a some earthy toned field/meadow qualities; light notes of black pepper further down in there
Flavor: initially starts off semi-sweet with a brisk spicy undertone coming in for a slight balance; finishes slightly peppery with sweet lemony earthiness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and a little bit of semi-distracting spicy/peppery character but it's not too bothersome
Overall: I had a second pour of this that went well with the mushroom Swiss burger.

Aroma: some sweet wheat and lemony sweet to tart character, light floral and slightly perfumey notes
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a mild sweetness; finishes semi-sweet with a brush of tartness
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness to it and nothing distracting
Overall: nice enough APWA I believe I could hang out with again.

Crowler purchased on 11/21/2018 and brought home that night and consumed the same night
Into a snifter.
Appearance: very dark brown close to black in the pour and in the glass with a two and a quarter fingers of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, sweet nutty to toasted nutty tones, some cinnamon and a little bit of vanilla sweetness further down in there
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet nutty and chocolate vibe onto a nice toasty & semi-spicy quality; finishes with some chocolatey and cinnamon-like tones
Texture: medium bodied, great sipper; good amount of smoothness and the cinnamon seems to be scaled back here enough where it's not that noticeable to not even there
Overall: wow, yeah, I really liked this one, probably one of C.H. Evans' best beers. I didn't even know they had it in them but they did.

Aroma: sweet oatmeal notes, milk chocolate, some dark chocolate; subtle vanilla and a little bit of maple syrup
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine variety of sweet tones with a mild bitterness slyly rising from underneath; finishes leaning into the sweetness of those aromas
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; very smooth along the tongue and nothing distracting; good carb
Overall: a pretty nicely done breakfast stout I would return to.

Aroma: sweet apples, crushed clove; caramelized sugars; sweet wafery malts and a little bit of caramel/toffee malt notes
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a huge sweetness but seems to push the spices further back in there; finishes very sweet again through the apples, caramel tones and sweet wafery malt tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness and for the most part nothing really distracting
Overall: not really a Belgian Dubbel but it wasn't brewed bad, it's just something else.

Aroma: dark chocolate bitterness with some milk chocolate and coconut sweetness; sweet earthy tones and some woody sweetness
Flavor: meshes most of the prior noted aromas but leaves out the woodiness to a fine bitter to sweet combination; finishes semi-dry with a light roastiness and chocolatey sweetness
Texture: medium bodied; slightly sessionable; good smoothness and a touch of bitter dryness nicking the tongue a little bit
Overall: a pretty highly enjoyable dessert stout I would welcome again if I could.
