More Catskills fun need to get back hiking in that area this year. Pinkish purple brew and sudsy top. Nose is raspberry but lighter. Tastes of berry, grass, lemon, steel. Fairly sour. Crisp and refreshing.

Can just say Pils but fairly hoppy I guess. Gold pour and foamy head with leggy head. Nose is grassy and lemony. Tastes much the same soapy as well. Odd aftertaste. Pretty can design

I have a pint can that is stamped on the bottom with Canned On 03/28/24. A style I like perhaps best of the various IPAs, my Great Heights snifter is in place to receive the pour. The sight is impressive, very dark brown, almost black in color and covered with a creamy head of sepia tan foam. The scent carries a long ways, I get newly cut pine, hops, citrus and burnt bread. The drink follows this lead-in. There’s lemon, plenty of hoppiness, cedar, malt, grapefruit, biscuit and a small bit of chocolate from somewhere. Dense, intense, a fine IPA. I like considerably. Curiously on this delivery from Half Time, the label now, unmistakably, calls this beer Waxing & Waning. Why the change, I’ve no idea.

A selection I made from Half Time, I have the pint can opened and going inside of my Great Heights snifter. A cloudy, orange-yellow body followed by a slender ring of fully white foam. The nose is a curious style mix, there is some obvious hoppiness and also tropical fruit. That continues with the taste but undoubtedly this beer leans West Coast. Grapefruit, melon, kiwi, pine needles, straw, malt and a touch of hard candy. I'm liking this one.
