Poured from a 16 oz can that I believe was dated April 9, 2019 on the packaging. Aroma is moderately hoppy with some tropical fruit notes of mango, guava, passion fruit and gooseberry. Lighter pineapple and citrus notes. Light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. Pours a hazy but not murky, golden color with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes and a bit of biscuit as well. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate hop notes with tropical fruit and citrus most prevalent, but a resinous, dank note that wasn't so much in the aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent beer but it doesn't live up to my expectations. The hop aromas and flavors are a bit muted and dull, especially in the aroma. It also lacks the juiciness that I was expecting to find. It's clean and otherwise easy drinking though.

Vanilla and some orange. Only a light sense of sourness or lime - fairly milkshake here. Pours hazy yellow with OK head. Light sweet end.

Can. Pours lightly hazy golden, medium off-white head, dissipates to a ring with decent lacing. Aroma is muddled, grassy, pine, honey. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, wildflower honey, field grass, pine. Medium body.

Can from Star Grocery. Pours very dark brown with a large foamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate with a touch of smokiness. Med body. Very smooth texture. Flavor starts as chocolate, reveals some earthiness, and then it gets somewhat smoky. The malt is dark and smoothly toasted. Dry. Bitter enough. Good drink.

Can from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. Pours hazy dark gold with a large frothy near-white head. Fruity, near-juicy, aroma. Med body. Flavor is towards dry, a mix of pale stone fruit, caramel (in a blond way) and citrus/tropical. Pretty hoppy. Far from harsh. Pleasantly bitter. A nice drink.

A dark reddish copper Barley Wine with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, light vinous character, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with vinous notes, treacle, light butterscotch, alcohol warmth, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

A hazed milky blonde DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma , sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, tropical fruit, light pink grapefruit, very nice. On tap at brewery.
