16 oz can from Beercraft Rohnert Park, shared with Jeremy. Dark body, near black, minimal head. Slightly sweet and sticky, but not as syrupy as the name would imply. Solid roasty base, mild sweet notes. kind of slippery, but just short of being thick.

16oz can thanks to Steveoj. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is light touch of spice plenty of milk chocolate sweetness some vanilla and ash. Tatse is more of the nice sweet malts ash and rich chocolate vanilla.

Can. Pours cloudy yellow, small white head, dissipates quickly, decent lacing. Aroma is dank, pineapples, mango, green onion. Flavor is light plus tart, light plus bitter. Light plus body.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is very spicy, with lots of spicy peppers, roasted malt and cocoa. Flavour is insanely spicy, with almost nothing but throat-burning spicy peppers. There is clearly a more thorough palate of roasted malt here, but the spicy burn is too much. Too abrasive - undrinkable.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out molasses, with medium roast and light cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with cocoa nibs, light roast and some booze. Nicely constructed, with a lightly sweet finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours a jet black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out whiskey barrels, wood and medium roast. Flavour is heavy, with lots of roast, whiskey barrels and alcohol. Hot but balanced and complex. Lovely stuff.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some resins and caramel bready malt. Flavour is very dank, with herbal, dank hops and biscuity malt to back. Fairly abrasive, with lots of booze. A bit too harsh, but it's tasty.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is dominated by the calamansi, with subdued grassy and biscuity notes. Flavour is similar, with plenty of depth the calamansi, followed by subdued biscuity malt. Boozy, by very flavourful. Dominated by the calamansi. Nice stuff.

On tap at Seven Stills, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry white wine notes, biscuity malt and light grass. Flavour is along the same lines, with grass and herbal notes. Light barrel character accentuates this even more. Lovely stuff.
