Description
We create our own beer recipes – with homemade malt (BOM means Belgische Originele Moutbakkerij or Belgian Original Maltbakery) forming the basis for a secret composition of ingredients, called a “BOM package” – that we brew according to the principles of a gypsy-brewery. The Triporteur beers are our point of departure and our basic beers. Besides those, we also launch a special beer line with once-off products.

Bottle at home. Aroma is tart fruits, peach, touch of apricot, some funk, malt, tart apples. Flavour is light sour and a bit sweet. Body is medium. Certainly a pleasant Sour/Wild Ale, not pushing any boundaries but easy and tasty.

Bottle at home. Aroma is tart red fruits, sour cherries, raspberries and other kinds of berries. Flavour is sugary sweet, nicely tart and mildly sour. Body is medium. Nice Fruit Beer, delivers on the cherries and berries, would have liked a little more sourness to balance the sweetness though.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, roast, fruity hops, pine resin, coffee, touch of chocolate and liquorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium, just a bit heavy on the carbonation. Flavour in abundance, good blend of roasted malt and fruity resinous hops, a very fine Black IPA.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an very subtle but good dry bitter taste, hints of citrus and roaste malts. I must say Belgian (Black) I.P.A.’s are much friendlier than American counterparts in taste.
