Description
We create our own beer recipes – with homemade malt (BOM means Belgische Originele Moutbakkerij or Belgian Original Maltbakery) forming the basis for a secret composition of ingredients, called a “BOM package” – that we brew according to the principles of a gypsy-brewery. The Triporteur beers are our point of departure and our basic beers. Besides those, we also launch a special beer line with once-off products.

Bottle. Dark brown pour, with a large beige head. Soft cocoa nib aroma, with some very yeasty, belgianesque bready malts, light sweetness, some light coffee also. Mouth feel is bright, and full with a very effervescent carb. Finish is low to medium bitter, very yeasty, some dark fruit, Candi sugar, lots of semi wheat malts, very chewy, very Belgian. Interesting take on a Belgian inspired porter.

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, caramel, candy sugar, raisins, dried fruits, spicy notes. Flavour is medium sweet. Body is medium. Fairly typical Quadrupel, makes a decent attempt at emulating Westy 12 and/or Abt 12, but lacks the complexity of those master beers.

Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, caramel, dark bread, iron, toasted malt, hint of overripe fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Inoffensive, okay dark bready Belgian Ale.

Bottle at home. Aroma is tart fruits, peach, touch of apricot, some funk, malt, tart apples. Flavour is light sour and a bit sweet. Body is medium. Certainly a pleasant Sour/Wild Ale, not pushing any boundaries but easy and tasty.
