On tap at the brewery on opening night. Pours an inky black with some beige head. Nose of malt, licorice, molasses, toast, Kahlua, brown sugar, cracker. Flavor is malty, toast, cracker, brown sugar, caramel, expresso grounds. Slightly hot finish. Big and solid.

On cask at the brewery on opening night. Pours a hazy amber with some sudsy white head. Nose of soap, citrus, lemon, orange, perfume, lightly herbal. Flavor is sweet, malty, lemon, orange, light spice, soap. Clean, finish.

On tap at the brewery on opening night. Pours a hazy caramel amber with one ring of white head. Nose is brown sugar, light flick of smoke, black pepper, cherry cordial, clove. Smells like fruit cake. Flavor is just like fruit cake, cherry, brown sugar, light smoke, some clove, honey, almost a little buckwheat. Sweet finish.

On tap at the brewery on opening night. Pours a clear orange with zero head. Nose of booze, some peach, a little peach liqueur, some candy sugar, a little phenolic. Flavor is like a grand cru, a little nail polish, spice, booze, brandy, peach. Cleaner finish than I thought.

On tap at the brewery on opening night. Pours a murky orange with some bright white head. Nice nose, loads of dank hops, pine, soap, scallion, chive, lemon, orange, zesty, a little pepper. Flavor is much more mild, sweet, malty, lemon, grapefruit, pine, scallion. Clean, easy drinking finish. Huge nose but also super drinkable.
