From last night.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark red/purple color with a finger and a half's worth of pink frothy head which dissipated mildly to leave some light lace
Aroma: passion fruit, raspberries, cherry sweetness and tart character; and some orange pulpy sweet to semi-tart qualities
Flavor: does a great job of combining the prior noted aromas to fuse into a sweet to tart to light sour-ish quality; finishes tart with some sweetness from mentioned fruits
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to medium; slightly sessionable; good smoothness as the lactose does tame some of the sour; good carb level
Overall: nicely done fruited tart ale worthy of returning to and it was nice that the lactose wasn't overbearing

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: mostly clear yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which doesn't last too long but ends up leaving some light lace
Aroma: deep sweet pint and floral/honey blossom-ish hops to orangey and nectarine hop undertones with a super clean malty accent further underneath
Flavor: intertwines the prior noted aromas to a refined sweet quality allowing a semi-dry finish with floral and orangey notes
Texture: light to medium bodied; sessionable; clean smoothness with nothing distracting; good carb level, medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: I say a pretty nicely done West coast styled IPA I would return to.

Can to nonic.
Appearance: dark brown with a finger's worth of rustic cream colored head which dissipated at a moderate pace
Aroma: malty, nutty, sweet creaminess, cocoa powder, caramel and a little bit of breadiness
Flavor: seems to blend the prior noted aromas together in a sweet sort of way then finishes with some sweet grain and nutty to cocoa powdery sort of quality
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe closer to medium bodied; sessionable; very smooth along the tongue with nothing distracting anywhere; good carb level
Overall: to me, it seems to come across like a brown ale which I didn't mind but I'm not exactly sure where the "Kentucky Common" style fits in this one? Hmmm...🧐

Can to nonic glass.
Appearance: pale golden bronze color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which settled off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: biscuity/dried toffee/tea-biscuity with a touch of sourdough and a clean earthy bitterness
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a clean bitter to sweet and doughy/bready/biscuity malted quality; finishes doughy, earthy bitter and lean
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; pretty good smoothness/seems to slink along the tongue well; low-ish carb
Overall: nicely done English mild ale worth coming back to with some fish n' chips.

Can never complain when we get Bluejacket here in Vermont.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: burnt dark yellow color with half a finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace; some light particles seem to be floating in and around the glass (part of me thinks maybe it was the lemon peel? honestly, I don't know)
Aroma: definitely the lemon peel up front with a pinch of lime-like hoppy tones; clean malts underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to bittersweet sort of blend and a super light hint of salt adds an even subtler note to the mix; finishes lime-ish to lemony bitter to bittersweet
Texture: light to medium bodied; very sessionable; some smoothness with a sly refreshing sort of aspect (I guess the salt comes back here to add that refreshing part); good carb level and medium to low hop bitterness assertiveness
Overall: a hazy blonde ale with a refreshing tone to it that I believe I would return to.
