Amber, hazy, colour. head doesn''t last long. Yeasty, slightly acidic, with a touch of toffee, aroma. The flavour reminds me of a way too strong Witbier. It gave me a heartburn!

Hmmm, I''m not sure what to make of this. It has a very fruity, sweet aroma, and a cloudy golden appearance with a very nice head. The flavor reminds me more of a champaigne than a beer. The sweet, fruit and malty flavors I''ve come to expect from Belgian Strong Ales really isn''t present in this beer at all. The finish is very dry and slightly bitter. It''s growing on me, but that may just be because it''s making me tipsy.

Reddish brown, hazy colour. Medium head. Somewhat yeasty aroma with a little bit of toffee and citrus. Sweet and warming flavour. A pleasant but not outstanding beer.

Brown colour. Head dissipates fast. Wonderful complex aroma! Chocolate, bubblegum, orange peel, cowberries and even a touch of lambic! After all that the flavour is a bit of a disappointment! Sweet and warming, a bit like a young port wine.

Pale yellow colour. Very cloudy. Big, fluffy head. Light spicy, citrus-aroma. Fizzy citrus-flavour. Thin and watery. A disappointment.

The flavor and aroma of this beer are very similar to Victory Golden Monkey. I realize that they are the same style of beer, but I''ve had other belgian strongs, and these two beers are like brothers. However, unlike Golden Monkey, the fruit and spice flavor isn''t as noticable or enjoyable. If you have the choice, buy the monkey.

Peachy, hoppy, yeasty, blonde. Lots of alcohol and of course yeast, but surprising hop for Unibroue. Quality, but man they have a lot of pale beers.

Pale, hazy, lots of fruit on the nose (this is an apple beer); very spritzy, like a spicy apple crisp with a biscuity crust. Slightly candyish.

Black; aroma of black currants, black (but not roasty) malts - less fruit than the similar Trois Pistoles. Smooth body, complex malt notes, ever-present Unibroue yeast, plum, toffee, sweet finish.

Amber-brownish colour, misty; frothy head, that reduces quickly. Warm aroma, malty, cookies, alcohol. Good body, powerful, a lot malty, alcoholic, sweet in the front, more balanced then; nuts. Ordinary palate, with sweet notes, lacking some hop character and bitterness.
