Draught. Cloudy pale yellow with foamy white head, lemon peel-mango aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrusy taste with mango flavor, thin body, long bitter finish. Interesting brew, the taste changes from medium to bitter in secs.

Draft at Shepherd and Knucklehead, Hoboken, 4/20/17.
Listed at 8.9% on the menu here, not 8%.
Pours a hazy orange color with a thin head and some light, spotty lace. A bit resiny, some citrus and grapefruit. Light tropical notes. Finishes kinda dry. Solid mouthfeel. A little sticky. Pretty solid. One of the better things I've had from 902, and I would love for their beers to be good, so do even better!

Shared 22 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy pale copper with a fluffy white head. Heavy lacing. Aroma is lager-like with faint citrus and floral notes. Taste is light malts with a heavy dose of vegetables and plastic. Couldn’t come close to finishing this. Drain pour.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark orange with medium sized foamy whitish head, orange peel aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter hoppy taste, thin and watery body, medium bitter finish. Not a remarkable IPA.

22 oz bottle from Shop Rite - Hoboken, 3/9/16. Clear darker golden color with a clean off-white colored head. Oddly, the aroma is reminiscent of a pale lager. Grains, some corn, yeast, pale malts. Some grassy and earthy hop notes. Flavor follows that same line with a grainy / malty flavor and some light, lager-style hop notes. Light-medium body, decent mouthfeel. Would have probably been a decent macro lager, but it is totally confusing as a craft version of a pale ale.

Bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with large foamy beige head, coffee beans aroma, low carbonation, dry, lightly bitter roasted malt taste, smooth body, medium bitter finish. The hops are overshadowed by the roasted malt taste, but still fine.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Shop Rite-Hoboken, 2.3.16. Complete with some difficult to remove and completely unnecessary red wax. Thanks for making this harder to open!

Aroma: Muted aroma of pale malts and citrus, not much else
Appearance: Pours a murky orange color with a thin, bubbly head and drippy lace
Flavor: Lightly sweet, malty flavor, soapy and watery, finishes mildly bitter
Palate: This one has a very thin, watery mouthfeel, soft carbonation, short, dull, close
Overall Impression: This beer is just really really dull. They call it an Imperial Red Ale, but it tastes like a watered down nothing of a beer. I know I should probably stop buying beer from these guys, but I'm trying to support Hoboken's only brewery (even if they don't really exist in Hoboken).

Draft at Barcade, 8/25/15. Hazy yellowish-orange color with a thick, foamy head and good lacing. Aroma is wheat, sweet, and a bit of adjunct/corn like notes. Actually a little reminiscent of sunscreen, but that may just be the name playing tricks on my mind. Solid enough mouthfeel. Not a great beer, but for 902 this seems like a step in the right direction. You know what they say "no where to go but up!"

Just found my notes on this beer: Draft at Little Town - Hoboken, 5/2/13
It pours a dark brown color with a nice, lasting, light brown head. The aroma is chocolate malts, caramel, and light hops. Tastes medium sweet and mildly bitter. It has a medium plus body, and average carbonation.
