330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity hoppy and pale as well as caramel malty aroma, notes of orange and tangerine with some zesty aspects, a touch of woody pineapple. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of orange, tangerine, mandarine, some orange peel, a touch of old lemon. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly to lively carbonation. Well hopped, very citrusy, very refreshing, maybe a tad overcarbonated - good.

Bottle, thanks Fin! Light red amber with a hint chill haze and a huge lacing offwhite head. Fresh perfumed, flowery, light tropical hop nose. Medium full dry chewy body. Light caramel, light classic hop resin notes, citruspeel and perfumed finish. contents match the name, nice!

Huge, dense & fine yellowish head, bit irregular and very stable over hazy ochre-amber , very lively carbonated beer. Creamy nose, garden herbs, white candi sugar, yeasty. Dry-spicy-herbal. Some toasted malts and even caramel behing, but mainly demi-sec. Hints of nutmeg, white pepper. Again much yeast intonation. Finish has a fine undescript acidity. Not really fully attenuated, thick-ish for a tripel, but thanks to the creamy head, lively carbonation and body, it doesn't disturb at all. Pretty good tripel. thick & sweeter than usual, but in itself a likeable beer. Txs to B&T for the gift!

Almost black with a frothy, beige head. Sugary, candy-like aroma with a bit of burntness. Prunes. Taste is mildly bitter up front, sweeter at the back with a hint of cherry. Medium-bodied, slightly watery texture, moderate carbonation. Some thinly disguised alcohol at the finish. A bit rough, and lacks the depth of the better members of the style. Drinkable.

Bottle picked up from a Sulzberger Bierhaus Pffafenhofen an der Ilm had this at home Sunday 13th November 2022, cooking a Lamb Tagine and also a Spinach and Ricotta Lasagne with Pine Nuts whilst Loz cooks a Mousakka and makes bread, listening to a great show on 6Music with Gideon Coe and Kathryn Williams listening to old archived music in the BBC collection. Pours warm gold with a large white head that gradually receded. The aroma carries with it a little spice and herbal note, I guess typically Belgian. This simple spicy yeastyness provides a little bit of interest to an otherwise simple but pleasant Belgian beer albeit the Belgian take on an IPA. Of course there is a little bitterness and decent fruity bite but otherwise it's pulling more from the Belgian Golden Ale territory, nice carbonation, good sipper, pleasant beer.
