Bottle, 9.5%. Malty aroma, more fruity than malty, actually. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a bready note and some baking yeast. Liquorice sweetness in the finish.

Bottle at home. Murky yellow-ish color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts and somewhat hoppy but a bit old. Flavor is malts, hops, again a bit old, a light tart edge. Tart-bitter. Hmm not very good tbh.

0.33l bottle from D&S Getränke, Dresden, shared with Brandt, Gurthnar & Zhenya. Huge estery aroma, banana primarily, tons of caramel, bit of fusels. Dried out somewhat, smooth body, well carbonated, caramelly, dried fruit, esters, bit sugary, warming, simple, low bitterness, okay.

Med-full bod, med-light carbo. Med bitter, med sweet, quite dry feeling tho. Lots of phenolics, spicy. Medium dried fruits, prunes, but also apricots, less resins. Good but not great.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque brown with a small, beige head. Aroma of molasses and dark, dried fruits - very Belgian esters and a hint of phenols. Rich body with plenty of the above paired with some woody tannins. Warming alcohol finish. Lovely if not exactly right up there with the best Quads. 280226

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca media grana persistente, color giallo oro velato con lieviti in sospensione, al naso lieviti belgi succo di pera pesca sciroppata zucchero filato frutta candita, in bocca è piena pesche sciroppate pera frutta candita miele note erbacee, corpo rotondo, carbonatazione forte, molto dolce ma non stucchevole, amaro moderato. bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma fine nocciola persistente, color marrone intenso quasi nero con riflessi mogano, al naso banana uvetta sotto spirito vino Porto esteri frutta matura leggero vaniglia leggero liquirizia, in bocca malto tostato zucchero di canna vino Porto vaniglia liquirizia anice spezie, corpo strutturato, tenore alcolico elevato ma equilibrato, carbonazione moderata, leggera dolcezza con amaro moderato, bella secca. Potente ed equilibrata, la benzina giusta per questa serata di Halloween. E intanto mi ascolto Paysage d’Hiver. Molto buona 🎃 c. Birraland.it 31.10.25

Bottle. Slightly cloudy pale yellow with a massive white head. Aroma of passion fruits, mango, pineapple, lemons, coconut, grass and yeast. Taste of mangos, passion fruit, jogurt and minerals with traces of coconut and vanilla. Quite juicy. Low to moderate bitterness. Strong carbonation. A little boozy but it‘s alright.
