12oz can. Poured a pale golden color with a fizzy, medium sized white head. Aroma was light corn, light malts. Actually not as bad as it may first seem. Light bitterness, touch corn. Light grain. Mild floral hops.

Can labeled Spring Bock: Dinner roll and graham cracker nose, honey highlights. Clear copper, medium head. Honey, bread. Dried leaf finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Probably the best beer I've had from this brewery. Very enjoyable.

Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet artificial lemon. Taste has artificial strawberry, some lemon, vaguely malty. Palate is nonexistent. Bad.

12 oz. can from Downtown Produce. Pours a crystal clear pale gold color with a white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Skunky malt aroma. Generic Euro lager flavor with just a tiny skunk finish. Relatively smooth and less grainy than a typical lager. Light body. It won't win any awards, but a respectable cheap beer.

My third of the Hemptails malt liquors to sample. They got progressively better within the limitations of the style. The 23.5 oz can is out of the fridge and gets bagged before I lift the tab. It does have the best of the scents, sort of a danky, orange creamsicle. The taste is along those lines too. Orange-citrus, a nod to reefer and somewhat sweet. Maybe the 8% will kick in later. One could do worse than this.

12oz can from Consumers Beverages. Plae golden body, light haze, fizzy head. Aroma features pink grapefruit notes, full. Taste, even moreso. Fleshy pink grapefruit flavors, with some citrus tanginess that trails off to a faint bitterness at the finish. Did someone say summer beer?

12 oz can from Wegmans. Clear amber pour, small off white creamy head . Malty aroma, woody, minor sweetness. Taste concentrates on the malts, some caramel, light sweet notes. Nothing too fancy, but solid.

My first go with Hemptails was somewhat underwhelming, maybe I expected too much. I’m trying now with Passionfruit Express. A 23.5 oz can, 8% abv. Consuming out of the can, paper bag in place. A not offensive first taste, moderately sweet, a slight experience of reefer, some kind of fruit represented here, my take of it since I am no passionfruit expert. Not bad.
