Fairly full stout, which has just enough roasted bitterness to keep things traditional as this one walks the line between dry stout and foreign stout.

Draught at Ferryman’s Tavern, Cape Town (as ferryman’s Ale). Dark ruby/brown, small head. Aroma of caramel and molasses. Sweet and lightly roasty with full body. Salty and malty, lightly peaty with toffee and oil. Medium bitterness. Well balanced and reaslly good.
