Keg at MK VHX, 13/08/18. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose carries a cucumber tang, light grassy aroma, straw, airy malts. Taste comprises light gherkin, straw, herb, cucumber skins, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a very faint sour edge. Ok simple sour ... carries some refreshment value but surprisingly little going on for a Chorlton sour.

Keg at MK VHX, 13/08/18. Lightly hazed pinkish orange with a decent faded crimson cap. Nose is big on sage, damp hay, berry fruits, straw, light spice. Taste comprises light tangy blackberries, more subdued sage elements, mellow berry yoghurt, straw, light funk, balsa wood, herbal notes. Mediumbodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow puckering. Ok simple sour which does what it says on the tin.

[ As Chorlton Dark Matter 2017 ].
ABV: 7.3%. Clear dark black - red brown colour with a tiny, virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted - chocolate, dark malt, red wine, wood, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, wine - red wine, oak - wood, dark malt, dark fruit, light chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180806]

Tap. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. 4%. Hazed, medium gold. No head. Nose has plastic packed blueberry. A bit cheesy. A bit woody. A bit of a popcorn thing going on. Taste is fairly sweet, with a light, woody funk. Medium body. Low carbonation. Decent balance of sweet and sour on the finish.
