This is refreshing to see an american brown ale that isnt trying to be an hugely hopped ipa. This is subtle, nutty, and loaded with nice grainy cereal notes. Light bitterness on the finish with more great nuttiness. A solid brown ale.

Clearamber pour, small off white head. Aroma is faint, but pleasant. Nice malts, light caramel, nutty bready grains. Great bready, nutty flavor, sweet bread, yeast, and light caramel. Light bodied, low bitterness. Wicked stuff.

incredibly dark pour, with a dark mocha head. Aroma of dark roasted almost burnt malts, and some sour cherries! I love that the cherries really come through on this beer! The cherries and their tartness really add a great depth to the thick robust, smokey malts. It finished with a big bold bitterness that really lingers. Great stuff!

Pretty straight forward, cocoa, coffee, deep roasted malt, with some smoke for good measure. A little thick on the mouthfeel, good bitter roasty finish. Top shelf.

good wit pour, nice big frothy head. Aroma is typical wit aroma, but its more balanced, and sweet. Also im getting a good whiff of american hops. Flavour is very smooth, and balanced. Lots of spices, and some soft fruit flavour, possibly from the paradise seed? Overall i’m really enjoying this. The alcohol is extremely well hidden, this is a very smooth, and very flavourful belgian wit. I wish i could get more, and have this all the time in the summer.

thanks to mcbackus for the bottle!
Oh boy, i’ve been wanting to try this for a long time. Batch 7690.
Hazy orange color, a nice beige head, with good retention. Aroma is loaded with grapefruit, citrus, and resiny pine. There is an explosion of flavour in my mouth, all sorts of grapefruit, lemon, orange, mandarin, and a loverly piney finish to it all. This is the definition of man candy. The 10% is hidden extremely well, it’s nowhere to be found, outstanding beer!
Ok Re-rate. I just had a fresh bottle that was a gift from a dear friend.
This beer fresh is an absolute slice of heaven. The grapefruit aromas are unreal! i love citrus, and man this is the beer for me! It really was like drinking a sweet grapefruit juice, my god it was outstanding! not too bitter, and the alcohol is nowhere to be found! amazing!

bottle from Mcbackus, thanks!
After a hard pour, there is a nice brown head sitting atop a very black beer. Aroma is lactic, and mily, with some notes of burnt chocolate, and coffee.
Flavour is quite lactic, and roasty. A good stout, but the lactic funk gets to be a little much, not my favorite style, I guess.

Hmmm.....not what i expected from an APA. Aroma is spicy, and sweet. Lots of sour apple, and floralness. Flavour is slightly sour with a good amount of bitterness in the finish. There is this sourness i was so not expecting. I wonder if this is an off bottle. Everything else seems in place, the hops, and the floralness. Odd beer, not at all what i expected.

not what i was expecting from a baley wine. Aroma was slightly malty, but i seemed to be getting big notes of cherry, and cognac. Flavour as very smooth, and the alcohol was very well hidden. Finish was nice and bitter with more cognac notes. Nice barley wine, but not my fav
