Deep chestnut brown with a frothy tan head. Not much of an aroma, just a soft hint of malt. Leafy, earthy malt up front with hints of berry fruit coming through and a dry, hoppy and slightly bitter finish.

York Beer Festival 2023. Clear copper-amber in appearance. Easy strength as you might expect from a mild, although much more hoppier than expected from this style. Retried in 2025, much better texture and taste. Session material, still quite hoppy.

Hand-pulled half-pint in my local Wetherspoons on 24th January 2024. Lovely looking pour, Ruby like traces in the amber/brown body, clear and bright; on top a soft and lasting off-white crown. Malty with a dark fruity feel, nice and interesting for a 4% Mild, well done Ilkley Brewery!

Late checkin from Wednesday. Don't see Ilkley as much these days. Shame as this was excellent.
