Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Ruby brown, clear as a bell, with a cream-coloured, erm... tight head. Light malty notes in the aroma, a bit of berry and sour woody notes. Tastes quite good, it's sweet with a light bitter sourness from the mellow fruity, leafy hop. More berry notes in the aftertaste with a very slight astringency. Soft but by no means absent carbonation. It's basic but pretty good, and in great condition.

Bottle. Amber coloured beer with a strong head. The aroma is toffee and caramel with yeastiness, and the flavour is bitter with toffeeness, caramel, and yeastiness. Overall a nice amber ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

clear amber colour, medium sized, dense, though not too stable beige-ish off-white head; aroma of toffee, biscuits, toasted and floral notes, hints of nuts and apple; taste of toasted rye bread, toffee, slight floral honey and quite intensive hoppy bitterness; correct bitter for correct price (around 1EUR/0.5L); I would definitely buy it again

Handpull cask at the Old Horse, Leicester. Copper, clear with a small layer of off-white head. Chocolate malt, berry notes and a vinous touch in the aroma. Bittersweet taste with lots of blackberry and soft cream, with a medicinal bitter note in the dry finish. Light body without being too thin. It's okay. I was hoping for more character.

Dark color with a tan head. Looks ok. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet. Toffee, fruity and a bit nutty flavor. Just a bit to warm and flat.

Dark brown color with a tan head. Looks ok. Decent intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet. Toffee, fruity and some spices in the flavor. A bit to warm and flat for my likings. Could have been nice.
