Cask at the Town Wall Tavern, Coventry on 12th February 2010. Copper with a white lacing head. Bitter hops and sweet caramel malt which dominates. A sweet aftertaste, and a smooth to watery texture.

Cask. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head leaving some laces. Lightly nutty nose. Light body, flat, light caramel accents and some fruit. Discreetly hoppy finish. 160110

Cask@The Angel, London. Amber colour, mediumsized creamy beige head. Aroma is nuts, fruits, wood and some caramel malts. Flavour is fruits, nuts, some wood and also some mild notes of herbs.

Cask conditioned handpull at Postal Order, JDW, Worcester. Chestnut, slight hae, thick beige head. It’s a decent slightly herby strong bitter. OK hops. Quite spicy and reminds me a bit of some hard candy sugar sweets in terms of flavour. OK

Cask at the Moon and Spoon (JDW), Slough. Gold with a dense off-white head; malty aroma; full-bodied with a malty flavour and a peppery bitterness to finish. Better than most Everards I’ve tried.

Cask-conditioned at the Knights Templar (JDW), Bristol 28/10/09. Copper coloured with a decent white head. Red fruit and caramel, with some doughy malts, a touch of earthiness and bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (handpump) @ The Devereux, 20 Devereux Court, Essex Street, London, Greater London England WC2R 3JJ. [ As Everads Summer Zest ]. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, soap - ginger, light hoppy, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090803]
