April 2009 Cask, stillage, at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Poured copper coloured with no head; balsamic aroma; syrupy texture, grainy and sweet with a trace of honey. Poor. (5/3/4/2/8=2.2)

October 2014 Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Golden amber with a ring of white head; strange aroma, and taste, of creamy fudge; and a dry finish. A slight improvement. (6/4/6/3/12=3.1)

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 21/04/09. Pale amber with a slight, off-white head. This came across as more of a ginger based drink than a beer. There was plenty of the spice in the aroma and flavour with some sweetish malts and little evidence of alcohol. Easy drinking nonetheless.
