473ml can, muled home from Brazil by a friend. Pours light hazed dark orange amber with a beige cap. Big malty, caramel, bitter orange marmalade & pine notes. Light to moderate sweet & moderate bitter. Medium body with soft carbonation. Tasty old school imperial IPA, takes me back to the 2013-14 era of big piney caramel heavy DIPAs.

Full body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, spices, light sweetness, peppery, some pines, light honey. Finishes a bit bitter sweet with notes of pines, honey and peppery notes.pretty nice one, tastes rather heavy though, not overly complex 7,4,7,3,13

Reddish-brown, bubbly head. There’s a toasty, deeply toffeeish malt aroma that’s quite appetizing. Sweet body with a toasted bitterness. Clean malts have a nice sugary length to them. Finish is quite balanced, both is full and just a slight bit of toffee stickiness.

Bottle. Medium brown and not much head. Aroma is more caramel and toffee, lacks the roast I would have liked. Kind of sweet but fruity, a touch of dark malt. You’d prefer it to be higher in alcohol but other than being out of style it’s not bad.

A dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with grassy hops, a bit herbaceous, OK. In mouth, a light sweet fruity chocolate malt with grassy hops, a bit of butterscotch, OK. Bottle at Boutique do Godofredo.
