dark brown to mahogany colour, moderate sized creamy beige-ish ecru head; aroma of smoked cheese, bready-bread crusty, some berries, roasted nutty, soy sauce, some cocoa powder and minimal citrusy notes; taste of smoked ham and cheese, (over-)roasted nutty and bread crusty notes; quite good one!

0.75l bottle thanks to Lore. Slightly opaque orange body with a thin white head. Bold vinous notes both in the aroma and the taste with notes of grape must and oak with hints of sugar syrup and some acetone. Decent brew.

almost clear, slightly opalescent orange to amber colour, medium sized creamy yellowish ecru head; aroma of fruity (mainly pear), floral, some caramel, toaste bread crusty and sunflower seeds notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma and some medicinal bitterness (as almost always in the case of Pere Jakob beers); quite good one

slightly opalescent golden colour, large, dense off white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of grainy, hay, bread crusty, some floral and herbal-medicinal notes; taste of medicinal hoppy bitterness (this seems to be present in almost all of Pere Jacob-s beers to some extent) and some malty-bready notes; not really extraordinary...and not really amber-like

dark brown to chestnut colour, huge, dense beige-ish head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of toasted rye bread, roasted nuts, chocolate, prune, some dried cherry and burnt woody notes; taste is a bit less complex with burnt bittery dominance, prune, dried cherry, heavy roasted nuts, slight unripe fruity sourness and tannine-like bittery notes; not that bad, though its taste is really disharmonic
