Description
During 2014 The Brew Company changed to Sky's Edge Brewing before having to change their name to Exit 33. They relocated in late 2014. Brewing was suspended in mid-2019, pending a move but never restarted.

Cask @ Blue Pig, Manchester. Blonde with a creamy head. It has a light hoppy character, but certainly understated in this respect. There’s a hint of fruit to be had but it’s mainly just a crisp and fairly smooth tasting ale.

Cask @ Beer Engine, Skipton. Dark copper-red with a creamy head. Has a grainy malt in both aroma and taste, with an easy drinking crispness making it light tasting in this respect, but feels fairly thin. There may be a hint of chocolate in here too.

Cask-conditioned at the Harlequin, Sheffield, 2/12/2014. Deep copper in colour, with a slight, white, head. Sweetish malts, a touch of berry fruit, and a decent, bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Harlequin, Sheffield, 2/12/2014. Near black, with a thin, tan, head.A smooth stout, with plenty of plain chocolate and roasted malts. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Wellington; dark brown pour with a thin creamy beige head, cocoa powder aroma, taste has toast, chocolate, light malts, dark fruit.

Cask. Brewhouse, Sheffield. Hazy, gingery red. Tight, white, lasting head. Soft, sweet wheat. Orange. Light spice. Some banana toffee. Clove, too. Taste is gingery spice. Light dry. Thin palate. Finishes spicy dry.

Cask. 40th Steel City Beer Festival. Clear gold. White head. Lots of orange. Mandarin. Quite floral. Green hop. Taste is light dry, with a fruity sweetness. Full bodied. Long, dry, and bitter finish.

Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Yellow-blonde with a creamy-smooth head. Has a lemon and grapefruit citric bitterness and slightly soured for it. A slight bit of malt in its nose.

Nice solid russet body. thick lacing white head. Big malty, nutty caramel nose, sweet robust taste. Chewy body, a bit of toffee on the finish. Pleasant and one for a decent session.
