Cask at the Craven Arms; clear copper pour with a frothy off white head, assertive hop aroma and caramel, taste has caramel and tangerine, a hint of pine.

Clear golden color with a fine white head that leaves a fine lacing on the glass. Nice citric, pine and caramel malty aroma. Medium body and a smooth soft carbonation. Citric, pine, fruity and malty flavor. Tasty nice session ale at the pub.

Cask-conditioned at the Gravity Station, Cardiff, 12/3/2015. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Aroma of citrus fruit, biscuity malts and a touch of grassy hops. Flavour had lemon fruit, more crisp malts and a long lasting, dry, finish. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol, April 2015. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Tangerine fruits, crisp, slightly biscuity malts, leafy hops and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Colchester Beer Festival at the Colchester Arts Centre. Cask. Almost clear pale gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with decent fine carbonation. Feels like good condition. Light pale malts, semi sweet. Nice floral - pine start to the hops with a little hop skunk following on. Light but lively citrus bites, lime notable. Finishes light and semi dry with a mild bitter linger. Very well hopped but light and drinkable. Excellent cask delivered hop forward treat.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Low carbonation. Very mellow dark malts. Some bitterish hop in the mid and then a contrasting milky sweet malt finish. Not doing it for me this one.

I have had this in bottle (small sample) poured by Gazza at The Shoulder of Mutton a few weeks back and more recently at Craft Clerkenwell on Cask Handpump Saturday 23rd May 2015 with Ang, Nick and others. Pours golden in colour a little thin white head and a very slight haze. Wow this is such a strange beer if you close your eyes you would imagine that are drinking a darker smooth beer with lovely coffee and white chocolate notes on the aroma and in the mouth. Some smooth light creamy vanilla, but with all that is going on I think I failed to pick up the coconut. I passed this around the table at Craft and this was very well received, itβs a weird but intriguing beer. Love it. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
